When I try to log in to the MyVerizon app, it says to update for an even better experience. If I click the update button, it takes me to the play store but I am already on the latest version. This phone will not allow you to uninstall the app. I have tried disabling and clearing cache and data several times. I am not willing to factory reset the phone since setting up was a major undertaking.

He can still change his AON and update his network manually and if it is unlocked it should accept the new network.
I wouldn't trust this "new" idea with my data. The YouTube app doesn't support PiP right now, but you can get around that by starting to watch a YouTube video in Safari in full-screen mode, then swiping up to go back to your home screen. The key is you have to put the video in full-screen mode before leaving the app. If that's not working for you, try requesting the desktop version of the site before you start watching the video. This workaround can be hit or miss, so if it doesn't work for one video, don't get discouraged.

Has anyone using the XPure updated to the new My Verizon App ( V-12.7.9) gotten the Data Widget to show your current data ? I changed my plan and it prompted me to install the new version. The widget only shows "tap to activate." When you hit the widget, it takes you to My Verizon as the old widget did, but does not show the data usage on the widget itself.
It reminds me of how the old widget worked when the XPure first came out, and VZW came out with the My Verizon Nexus app. To delete the My Verizon app, press and hold the app icon until your apps begin to wiggle. A red minus button will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the app icon — tap that button to uninstall the app. Finally, tapDelete when the confirmation alert appears. To check for an update, open the App Store and tap the Update tab at the bottom of the screen. On this page, you'll see a list of your apps that have pending updates.
